St. Christopher ornament  St. Christopher assisted people in crossing a dangerous river. A child asked for help, and as he was carried across, the river became swollen and the child grew heavier. After a great struggle, they reached the other side. The child revealed himself to be Christ and thanked St. Christopher for protecting him.
